The 16th Annual Superior Home Tour & Antique Show took place on January 27th and 28th in the historic mining town of Superior, Arizona. Hosted by the Superior Chamber of Commerce, the event offered ticket holders a chance to explore several unique homes in the historic community. The 2024 year’s tour included five unique homes, two historic buildings and one new park.
Throughout the day, attendees explored at their own pace, while also taking part in guided hikes, or listening to dynamic speakers. Attendees heard stories of Superior’s history and the legends who once roamed here, including Mattie Blaylock, Wyatt Earp’s common-law wife, who is buried in the Pinal Cemetery just outside of town. The speakers included Wyatt Earp, a descendant of the western lawman. In addition, the Tour will featured handmade pottery for sale from the Mexican village of Mata Ortiz and a chance to browse the various shops in downtown Superior.
Home Tour Tickets were $20 if purchased in advance. $25,00 at the door. Superior Residents received $3.00 off. All ticket holders received 2-for-1 tickets to the Renaissance Festival and Boyce Thompson Arboretum.
